Trump, Putin hold two-hour phone call to end war

 

US President Donald Trump spoke for nearly two hours with Russian President Vladimir Putin to try to end the Russia-Ukraine war that began three years ago.

They began speaking on the phone around 14:00 GMT on Tuesday (March 18). “The conversation is ongoing and it’s still ongoing,” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino wrote on microblogging site X.
